Groom Accidentally Shoots Army Jawan Friend During Wedding In India
A video circulating online shows the moment a groom accidentally shot and killed his friend during a wedding ceremony in India.
In the video clip, Manish Madheshia was given a pistol in front of a large crowd during the ceremony and lifted the gun in the air but accidentally discharges the weapon after.
Moments later, a man wearing a white T-shirt was shot and stunned onlookers cried out for help. Police later identified the victim as 35-year-old Babu Lal Yadav and said he was rushed to a nearby hospital but died from his injuries.

Investigators also said Yadav was a member of the Indian army and had permission to travel to attend his friend’s special day. Madheisha was arrested and charged with Yadav’s death and police seized the pistol as reported by the New York Post.
‘The incident took place during the marriage function organized in Ashirwad Vatika which falls under the police station Robertsganj. A person who’s serving in the army was identified as Babulal Yadav died after being shot during the celebratory firing by the groom – Manish Madheshia.
The pistol has also been seized and the probe is underway,‘ said Superintendent of Police of Sonbhandra Amrendra, Uttar Pradesh, Pratap Singh.
