George Floyd’s Brother No Longer Suing Kanye West, Wants Him To Shut Up
George Floyd’s Brother Says He Only Wanted Kanye West To Shut Up About Floyd’s Death
We previously reported that Kanye was being sued by the mother of George Floyd’s daughter after the rapper claimed Floyd died from fentanyl. Well, it looks like George’s brother wanted a cut but has changed his mind.
According to TMZ, “Philonise Floyd is temporarily standing down on his original threat to bring a lawsuit against Ye.”
If you can recall, Candace Owens and Kanye stated that George died from fentanyl, as opposed to the actions of Derek Chauvin. Ye told hosts N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN: ‘They hit [Floyd] with the fentanyl. If you look, the guy’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that. ‘They said he screamed for his mama; mama was his girlfriend. It’s in the documentary.’

“Philonise is hitting pause, specifically pertaining to Kanye, because he just wanted Kanye to stop repeating that false narrative about his brother’s death,“ said Philonise’s attorney.
“That’s exactly what’s happened over the last week and change since the “Drink Champs” episode aired.”
George Floyd died in 2020 after Minnesota police officer Derek Chauvin pressed his knee into his neck, despite Floyd’s pleas that he couldn’t breathe.
The incident sparked protests across the US and around the world as many demanded justice – with the officer later found guilty of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter.
