Jake Paul’s Trainer BJ Flores Shot In Robbery After Gun Held To Ex Boxer’s Head
Jake Paul’s trainer BJ Flores is in hospital in Colombia after being shot in the leg in a drive by vehicle robbery, according to DailyStar.
The former cruiserweight boxer was in Medellin when he was accosted at a set of traffic lights by robbers while being sat in the passenger seat of a vehicle.
The robbers proceeded to point a gun at Flores’ head before shooting him in the leg. Fortunately, Flores managed to escape with just a gunshot injury to his leg after the attackers tried to steal his wallet and watch.

Taking to Instagram in the aftermath of the attack, Flores wrote: “Tonight I was attacked by two armed motorcycle drivers as a passenger at a red light.
“They pulled up, stuck a gun to my head, tried to steal my wallet and my watch. They shot me one time in the leg and I defended myself the best way I could.
Flores made his professional debut on May 3, 2003, in Las Vegas, Nevada against Dallas Lane. Flores put three lefts together early in round one to send Lane to the canvas. He beat the count but crumpled quickly from an overhand right that caused the referee to stop the bout.
He challenged once for the WBC cruiserweight world title in 2016, and twice for interim world titles at cruiserweight and heavyweight.
