Man Buys A Hellcat For $26,000 With His Entire Savings & Finds Out It Was Rental

A man who goes by the name Don Le is currently trending on social media after purchasing a hellcat for $26,000 but later realized it was a rental.

The man had reportedly splashed his entire savings on the hellcat which unfortunately turns out to be a rental.

Apparently, the young man bought it from someone with a fake title and according to reports reaching us at Dreddsworld, he won’t be getting a refund.

Folks online have since been reacting to the news. “The hand written receipt produced from the totally blank piece of paper would’ve been the huge red flag for me,” someone commented.

“He should’ve known it’s something up with the deal.. 26k when most sell for 69k+. And if I’m dealing with that kinda of money I’m making sure my i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed..,” another person wrote.

A GoFundMe has been created to help raise fund for the young man. “Hi, We are DRIV3 Rentals. A Los Angeles-based Car Rental company. In light of a recent video, we posted on TikTok highlighting a situation that happen with one of our vehicles and an unsuspecting buyer of the vehicle,” the details on the GoFundMe reads.

“The Vehicle was stolen and fraudulently sold to Don Le without him knowing. The Scammer took $26,000 cash from Don Le. By Popular Demand, let’s help him recover his hard-earned money back.”
