California Man Who Carjacked A Police Cruiser Died After He Jumped Out The Vehicle During A High-Speed Pursuit

A high speed chase in Los Angeles took a fatal turn as the suspect made a reckless move in pursuit, according to TMZ.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the pursuit began around 11:45 a.m. Tuesday morning.

The suspect raced down the 138 Freeway at 70 miles per hour with the CHP Cruiser, taunting patrol officers attempting to keep pace. He maneuvered through lanes of traffic while seemingly rummaging through the cop car.

The thief then made a bold move by stepping out of the vehicle as it continued to travel at high speeds.

The suspect’s leg is seen swept under him, knocking his head onto the ground and into unconsciousness. The cruiser then slams into an electric pole and takes it down.

Officers tended to the suspect immediately but he ultimately passed away from his injuries, according to law enforcement.

“Saved us some tax dollars in court and attorney fees. good riddance,” a Twitter user wrote. “Was he thinking he was in a fast and furious car chase scene,” another user wrote.
