All four males were charged with four counts of reckless murder each.
Police have yet to release a motive for the rampage that claimed the lives of 4 people and injured 28 others. As of Thursday afternoon, four victims remain hospitalized in critical condition.
“We’re going to make sure all those victims have justice, not just the deceased,” District Attorney Mike Segrest said at a press conference on Wednesday.
According to Alabama law, a bond hearing for the initial three suspects must be held by Friday. The state is requesting that all three be held without bond, and the teenage suspects will be charged as adults.
