Florida Will Now Allow Its Residents To Carry Concealed Weapons Without Permit Or Training
Floridians will be able to carry concealed guns without a permit under a bill Republican Gov. Ron De Santis signed Monday, giving the governor another legislative victory as he prepares a campaign for president.
The governor signed the bill in a private ceremony in his office.
His only immediate public comment was, “Constitutional Carry is in the books,” which he said in a three-paragraph news release.

The new law will allow anyone who can legally own a gun in Florida to carry one without a permit. It means training and a background check will not be required to carry concealed guns in public. It takes effect July 1st.
“How long til you can legally drive in Florida without a driver’s license?” A Twitter user commented. “This is so fucking dumb i feel stupider having read this,” another person wrote.
“So glad I made the decision to move out of Florida when I did. If the apocalypse starts somewhere, It’ll be Florida first.,” someone else added.
“Feel like “the purge” will be put in place next in America,” another person on Twitter wrote.
