Two Alabama Teens Killed In Car Crash After Leaving Prom, Had Issues With Their Tesla Rental

Two Alabama teens have passed away after being involved in a fatal accident while leaving the prom.

According to the Tuscaloosa News, Madison Shaque and Samuel Brown, along with two other high schoolers, were in their Tesla rental leaving their senior prom when they collided with a semi truck at an intersection around 1:50 am Friday night.

Stephanie Taylor, spokesperson for the Tuscaloosa Police Department, said the Tesla was found pinned underneath the truck’s trailer and the passengers were entrapped.

The driver, who is presumed to be Madison, 17, and the front-seat passenger, presumed to be Samuel, 18, were pronounced dead at the scene.

An 18-year-old female passenger was taken to UAB Hospital in Birmingham with serious injuries. Another 17-year-old female passenger was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

Taylor said the Marion teen was listed in good condition Saturday morning.
