Kenneth Petty Refuses To Settle Sexual Assault Lawsuit, Maintains His Innocence
Kenneth Petty Maintains His Innocence Despite Conviction
It appears Kenneth Petty is refusing to settle a sexual assault lawsuit despite a judges order.
Petty previously had a lawsuit filed on him by Jennifer Hough, who accused Petty of rape back in 1995 when she was 16-years-old and he was 15.
Due to Petty’s lack of cooperation, Hough is requesting the court to “set a scheduling order.” Her suit claims that since speaking out about the assault, Petty has caused her emotional distress and has allegedly been trying to bribe her to recant her story.

Petty initially served 4 out of his 5 year sentence after pleading guilty to the attempted rape. However, he says he only took the plea deal after being told he would end up having to serve 20 years to life in prison.
Petty still argues that the encounter was consensual and that he committed no improper conduct.
A date for the scheduling order has not been released yet as of now.
“So you innocent but took a deal because you could not beat the case,” someone commented. “Homegirl wasn’t looking for a lawsuit until he got married to Nicki Minaj,” another person wrote.
