LisaRaye McCoy Defends Chris Brown Amid Usher & Teyana Taylor Controversy

LisaRaye McCoy spoke out in defense of Chris Brown after the singer reportedly got into an altercation with Usher at his birthday party.

Breezy was reportedly upset that Teyana Taylor attended his party as he did not invite her. He allegedly shoved Usher.

“Why he gotta chill? Why he gotta chill? What if he felt just like what he said? ‘F her.’ What if he felt like that? What I don’t like about it is that every time his name is brought up, that he always gets automatically blamed. Because, ‘He is that way.’ We know him to be that, so it gotta be him,” she said on Cocktails with Queens.

She continued: “That’s what I don’t like when people have that kind of stigma…because I got that. It’s quick for you to think that, ‘Oh Lisa Raye would have done that,” or, ‘Lisa Raye said that.”‘ And I don’t like that because that very next time, it could have been very different. But you blame me because of my past.”

Usher tried to calm the situation down but was seen with a bloody nose after the interaction with Breezy.

“If you’re surrounded by problems all the time and there’s constant friction wherever you are, then you’re the common denominator and people will likely place blame on you for what transpires. Chris Brown hasn’t been in his right mind for half of his life. He needs anger management and drug rehab,” a fan commented.

“Lisa Raye is delusional, his behavior is fine as long as he isn’t going upside her head. If a person shows you who they are, believe them. Smh,” another person wrote.
