NY Police Blames Harry & Meghan For The Car Chase, Claims Were Too Cheap To Get A Hotel
On Wednesday, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan had a “near-catastrophic car chase” with paparazzi. According to Meghan and Harry, it was the paparazzi’s fault, and they plan to hold them accountable.
But now the NYC police are saying something different. Police have spoken to the NY Pots, and are blaming the whole incident on Meghan and Harry.
The article claims that the incident happened because the royal couple were too cheap to pay for a hotel. The Ny Post’s Page Six is reporting that Meg and Harry demanded the Carlyle — one of the most luxurious hotels in the city — give them a discounted room for their New York City visit this week.

According to law enforcement sources, staff at the Carlyle refused to offer any discount, so the royal couple instead stayed at a friend’s house on the Upper East Side.
“The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at their destination, and there were no reported collisions, summonses, injuries or arrests in regard,” the New York City Police Department said in a statement on Wednesday.
“Harry and Meghan put regular people’s lives at risk because they are cheap,” the law enforcement source told Page Six. “They should just accept that people are going to take photos of them, photographers are going to follow them — this is New York — and they have to take intelligent steps to ensure their own security for the safety of themselves and everyone else.”
The NY Police have officially disputed Meg and Harry’s claim that the chase was “dangerous.” No traffic citations were issued, and the there will be no criminal investigation into the paparazzi’s actions.
