Summer Walker Calls Out White & Latina Women Living ‘Soft Lives’ On New Song

R&B singer Summer Walker is trending today, after she made some pretty controversial statements in her new song.

In one of her lyrics, Summer complained that her life is tough and that she’s “tired of seeing all these Spanish and white b*tches living their soft life.”

Many of Summer’s fans are blasting her over these comments, which many find racially insensitive. “As a loyal Latina fan to Summer Walker, I actually feel so disrespected by her hard life song,” a fan wrote on Twitter.

“Disregarding the Latinx community as people of color, and saying that the men in our life stick around and hand feed us, which is not true it’s actually ridiculous. So disappointing,” the fan added.

Summer has had a hard life. Before becoming an R&B mega-star, she worked as a dancer. And she has three children, by different fathers whom Summer claims has been absent in their child’s lives.

Some fans are actually pointing out that Summer’s hard life is not because of her race, but the choices that she’s made in her life.

“She so ignorant it’s sad. This is what happens when you make h00drats celebrities. She is not speaking for BW she is speaking for herself,” another person wrote.

Summer Walker said, “U say u want me soft but give me a hard life. Tired of all these Spanish and white (expletives) living they soft life. With they feet kicked up and glass in hand. Bills is paid thanks to they man, who know how to lead, got a plan…”
