Adele Says She Developed Jock Itch From Sweating ‘A Lot’ In Her Spanx Onstage

Some stuff celebs need to keep to themselves. Adele revealed that her Las Vegas residency has given her many things including jock itch.

Adele shared her tea during her residency at Caesars Palace Colosseum.

Adele said her doctor told her she had the fungal infection after sweating in her Spanx every night while performing under intense lights.

“It is a bit crude but I never knew it existed,” she shared.

“Me and my team were talking about it earlier. Obviously when I do my shows I wear Spanx to keep it all in and make it all fit me,” Adele added during the show.

“And I sweat a lot and it doesn’t go anywhere. So basically I just sit in my own sweat. And my doctor gave me Jock Itch [cream].”

The fungal skin infection, commonly found among athletes, is an “infection that causes an itchy rash in warm, moist areas of the body,” such as the groin and inner thighs, according to the Mayo Clinic.
