Black Fashion Designer Calls Out Pharrell Williams & Louis Vuitton For Stealing Her Idea
Pharrell Williams Accused Of Stealing New Louis Vuitton Designs From A Black Woman
This week designer Kellie Ford called out Louis Vuitton creative director Pharrell Williams, accusing him of copying her viral Louis Vuitton shopping bag.
You’ll recall that Pharrell was sued for millions, and found guilty of stealing music from legendary singer Marvin Gaye.
Kelly posted a video, nearly 6 months ago, showing how she changed a Louis Vuitton shopping bag, into a purse. Pharrell created a design that looks remarkably similar to Kellie’s.

In a video posted on TikTok Kellie Ford explains that her “concept” was stolen and compares her case to that of Dapper Dan, who was sued by Gucci for customizing their fabric in the 80s only to be hired by them decades later.
She said she plans on suing Pharrell.
“She used a trademarked shopping bag with their trademarked logo and font. She should of tried to sale the idea to them,” someone commented.
“You cant sue for fashion sketches and have copyrights on dresses or bags unlike how you can sue in music the courts have determined this already good luck suing,” another person wrote.
