DC Young Fly Delivers Emotional Speech At Jacky Oh’s Funeral

DC Young Fly gave a moving speech today at a funeral held for his late longtime partner, Jacky Oh. The funeral service for Jacky Oh took place today, June 10, at the Jackson Memorial Baptist Church in Atlanta.

The couple shared three young children together, Nova, Nala, and Prince.

“I love you Jack,” DC Young Fly begins, “These kids are beautiful man.” He then laughs, joking that he would have liked to have “seven more.”

He continues, “I love you girl, and I want our kids to understand that you had a beautiful soul. And you didn’t leave us, you’re in heaven.”

“Your spirit is with us, you’re still here and we’ve got an amazing support system. We’ve got a beautiful support system,” DC added. A clip of the speech shows the casket being closed.

Jacky Oh was found unresponsive in a Miami hotel room on May 31. When first responders arrived, she was transported to Mercy Hospital in Coconut Grove, where she was pronounced dead at age 32, despite resuscitation attempts.

Though Jacky Oh’s cause of death has not yet been revealed, some people have speculated that her death could be related to a recent “mommy makeover” she was reportedly planning to undergo.
