Former NY Podiatrist Caught Attempting A Murder Hit On Estranged Wife Again

A 49-year-old former NY Podiatrist, Ira Bernstein, who served four years in prison for trying to order a hit on on his estranged wife, has landed himself back in jail for the same damn thing.

According to NY Post, Ira Bernstein was hit with with multiple felonies for attempting to solicit the murder of his wife, Susan Bernstein, back on July 29 and Sept. 21, 2022.

What’s crazy about this is that Ira was released from prison back in 2021 for trying to hire a car salesman to off his wife. After being out for a year, he allegedly recruited his sister

Jaclyn Goldberg, an employment attorney at the firm Keane & Beane, P.C., and tried a second run at planning to take his wife out.

Jaclyn allegedly conspired to destroy evidence of the solicitation. She’s been hit with several charges from tampering with physical evidence, one count of third-degree hindering the prosecution, and one count of fifth-degree conspiracy.

At the original sentencing, Susan Bernstein told the judge that her husband was “evil” and had even risked their special needs daughter’s life just to take her out. She explained that her children knew their father was evil and feared that he would be released.

This case is still developing, and we can only imagine what other shocking twists it may have in store.
