Gangsta Boo’s Cause Of Death Is Accidental Overdose On Fentanyl, Cocaine & Alcohol
Former Three 6 Mafia rapper Gangsta Boo’s cause of death has been revealed as an accidental overdose, according to Memphis news reports.
The rapper, whose real name was Lola Mitchell, was found dead at the age of 43 on New Year’s Day at her home in Memphis.
An autopsy report revealed that she overdosed on fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol.

Gangsta Boo was born in the Whitehaven section of Memphis in 1979 and joined local hip-hop collective Three 6 Mafia at the age of 15 in 1994.
She recorded her first solo song with the group, “Cheefa Da Reefa,” that same year. She later released her debut album, Enquiring Minds, in 1998, which featured her most popular hit, “Where Dem Dollas At?”
Gangsta Boo was a pioneering Southern female rapper who made significant contributions to the hip-hop industry.
Her talent and impact will be remembered, and her passing is a sad loss for the music community. May she continue to rest in peace.
