Missouri Teen Shot In The Head Says His Life Will Never Be The Same
“I’ve Been Having Headaches, Trouble With Sleep & Foggy Mind” – Teen Shot In The Head Says
Ralph Yarl, a Missouri teen who was shot in the head by an 84-year-old white man, Andrew Lester, for ringing the wrong doorbell, is finally speaking for the first time on the incident in depth.
In an interview with ABC news, the young man believes that despite being past any feelings of hatred, Lester should be convicted of his charges.
“Justice is just the rule of law,” Yarl said. “Regardless of race, ethnicity, and age.” Yarl also updated viewers and supporters on what his life has been like since the incident occurred. “I’ve been experiencing headaches, trouble sleeping, and difficulty concentrating.” Yarl revealed.

Outrage struck in Kansas city after Lester was only detained for less than 2 hours. Protests brought out more than 1,500 students in support of Yarl. Through out all of the chaos, the young man remains aware of his situation and circumstances.
“I’m just a kid and not larger than life because this happened to me,” Yarl said. “I’m just going to keep doing all the stuff that makes me happy and just living my life the best that I can.”
Lester claims that upon shooting Yarl he was scared for his life due to the young man’s size although sources later revealed that he was only 170 pounds. As of right now, Lester’s $200k bond probits him from having any type of weapon or contact with Yarl and his family.
A Missouri judge granted a motion this month to seal more evidence in the case against Lester.
