Nicki Minaj Becomes A Victim Of Swatting After Police Were Called To Her Home On False Alarm

Nicki Minaj was unfortunately a target in a pranking attempt that involved police officers and alleged child abuse.

According to TMZ, earlier this month, law enforcement received an anonymous call that there was child abuse towards Nicki’s son Papa Bear happening at her L.A. home.

So, officers popped up at her house to do a wellness check on the child. Once they arrived and talked to both Nicki and Kenny Petty, the police determined it was a false alarm and the child was not in danger.

The exact same day, there was another attempt to bring the police to Nicki’s house after someone called to report a fire at her residence at 3 AM. That was also determined to be a false alarm.

They say Nicki is the latest celebrity to be a targeted victim of “swatting”.

Swatting means the action or practice of making a prank call to emergency services in an attempt to bring about the dispatch of a large number of armed police officers to a particular address.

Nicki has gotten her legal team together and she reportedly plans to find the perpetrator and sue them.
