Tina Knowles And Richard Lawson Have Reportedly Separated

There are rumors swirling around that Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles and her husband Richard Lawson have separated.

Tina and Richard started dating in the summer of 2013. The two had been friends for more than 30 years and they seemed to fall in love almost instantly.

The couple were married in Newport Beach, California on April 12, 2015 – and since then they have been nearly inseparable. But recently a series of things have happened – which suggest that the couple have split.

The first clue is that Tina changed her Instagram bio. While her IG handle is still @mstinalawson – her bio names her as “Tina Knowles.” Her bio used to read “Tina Knowles-Lawson.”

The second clue is that Richard did not attend Jay Z’s mother’s wedding last weekend. Beyonce’s mom Gloria Carter and her longtime partner got married in New York City, and the entire Carter and Knowles family attended. Tina was there …. but her husband Richard was not.

Third clue is that there have been “cracks” in their relationship, which were evident to anyone who cared to look. Listen to how Tina steals Richard’s soul, during an episode of TV One’s Black Love a few years back:

Fourth, and probably most importantly, Richard has been traveling the world promoting his new movie, Black Terror. It’s the biggest project that Richard has ever worked on – and he’s been pushing it all ver the world. He’s attended the Essence Festival, and Cannes Film Festival promoting the film.

And his wife Tina has not been by his side for any of the promotion. Oh, and Richard is not wearing his wedding ring either.

Fifth and finally, neither has posted images of the other on social media for more than 6 months. And Beyonce’s Mom posts almost daily. Given all the smoke, it looks like the mature couple may have finally called it quits.
