11-Year-Old Girl Suffers Chemical Burns After A Child’s Mother Gave Them Acid To Throw On Her

A 12-year-old has been charged with throwing acid on an 11-year-old during a dispute at a playground. But what makes this story even worse is that the mother of the 12-year-old allegedly told the child to do it!

According to Fox Detroit news, the victim, Deaira says she’s in a lot of pain and is having trouble walking with the chemical burns.

But what started the fight? Deaira’s mom, Dominique Summers, explained: “Her mother met her in the park and gave her the chemical to throw on the kids and she told the kids that’s what they get for messing with her daughter,” she said.

Deaira initially escaped the attack but realized she left her purse before running back to retrieve it. Her brother called their mom to let her know what had happened. “Holes were coming in her clothes,” Dominique said.

Per the report, “Deaira was rushed to a hospital with severe burns. After the check-up, she learned she had second and third-degree burns running downer back.”

Detroit police say the case isn’t theirs to investigate since it occurred on school grounds. Her family has started a GoFundMe for her recovery.
