Ohio Police Officer Unleashes K-9 On Unarmed Black Man Despite Patrol Officer Telling Him Not To

A local Ohio police department is under fire after they unleaded an K-9 on an unarmed black man despite multiple command not to!

According to the Daily Mail, all of this went down on the 4th of July after Jadarrius Rose reportedly took officers on a lengthy pursuit in his semi-truck trailer. The vehicle was missing a mud flap and it had failed to stop for an inspection, a report from the Ohio State Highway Patrol stated.

After the pursuit, Rose stopped and exited the truck with his hands up. By this point, there were dozens of officers on the scene, including local law enforcement and state highway patrol. Officer Ryan Speakman of the Circleville Police Department then unleashed a police dog on Rose even though a State Police trooper told him multiple times not to do so.

“Do not release the dog with his hands up,” the officer can be heard saying in the body cam footage. Rose screamed loudly and could be heard saying, “please get it off.” “Get the dog off of him!” a trooper yelled. Other officers were heard on the video requesting first aid and medical attention for Rose.

Rose asked the officers while they released the dog and ordered the K9 to attack. “You just let the dog bite me,” Rose said. The officer said Rose just had to listen to his commands. Rose then replied that he was scared because of all the guns pointed at him.

“As troopers were attempting to gain compliance by providing verbal commands to the suspect, Circleville Police Department deployed their canine, which resulted in the suspect being bitten by the canine,” the highway patrol said in a statement.

There is no word yet if the officer who released the dog is on administrative leave at that time. Rose was subsequently taken into custody, OSHP said, adding the case remains under investigation.
