Oluwatomisin Sanni aka RNB Tomi, the founder and CEO of music platform RNB RADAR has denied allegations of abuse, pedophilia and rape after an ex-girlfriend and other stepped forward to make some serious allegations against him.

“I have cheated on my past partners, both physically and through social media/text by sending explicit images,” he wrote in a statement to Twitter before deactivating his account.

“Instead of handling these situations maturely and ending the relationships, I resorted to gaslighting and verbally attacking the women involved.”

He continued, “I apologize to all my past employees for creating a hostile work environment through my verbal interactions and for abruptly letting you go without adequate explanation. I cannot proudly call myself a CEO when this is how I have treated my team and those who have supported me the most.”

“After reading all your opinions and stories about your experiences with me online, I have been awakened to the reality of my actions and how I have treated fellow curators, tastemakers and others in the music industry.”

His ex accused him of mental and physical abuse. Twitter user @curlygxddess posted to Twitter, claiming Tomi (real name Oluwatomisin Sanni ) abused her. “He mentally abused me, emotionally abused me and physically abused me,” she wrote. She says her “punched, kicked, choked” and sent her to the hospital on numerous occasions, per Exclaim!

In a separate tweet, she added, “And please let me reiterate that is just a GLIMPSE. I could never put into words everything RnB Tomi put me through because I endured years of the abuse, the cheating, the forceful sex and so much more! & I was always afraid to speak up.. not anymore!”

Tomi has since stepped down from the company as CEO. RNB RADAR released a statement that reads: “As a collective of writers, producers, advisors, playlisters, and contributors — we are aware of the very serious allegations circulating about RNB Radar co-founder Tomi.”

“We do not condone, turn a blind eye to, or agree with the type of behaviour and actions that have been alleged in any way shape or form. We are also hurt and saddened by what we see unfolding in our community – all RNB Radar activities are paused as we look into this matter further and determine next steps.”
