T.I & Tiny Demand $165K From Sabrina Peterson After Defamation Suit Gets Dropped

Two years ago, Sabrina Peterson, a former friend of T.I and his wife Tiny Harris, accused the couple of trying to slander her name.

In 2021, Sabrina claimed, after a disagreement, T.I. pulled a gun out on her and threatened to kill her and that the couple were sexually assaulting women in their home.

Sabrina even filed a defamation suit where she claimed T.I. and Tiny went on social media and questioned her character to the world. Fast forward to now, a judge has overturned some of her allegations, so the couple wants Sabrina to cough up some money.

According to Radar Online, an Appellate Court voted to drop 5 of the 7 causes of action against the couple after the decision to keep all allegations on the lawsuit was initially Upheld by a lower court judge.

Meaning, the higher court felt that 5 of Sabrina’s claims weren’t enough to be battled in court. Due to this victory, T.I. And Tiny want Sabrina to pay their $165k legal bill.

“The Harrises’ request for $164,650.56 in attorneys’ fees and costs is reasonable and in line with fee awards regularly affirmed in this district. Given the complexity of the legal issues, the time necessary to adjudicate Peterson’s seven causes of action over a two-year period, and the additional costs of appeal, the amount requested should be awarded in full,” the couple’s lawyer wrote.

A judge has yet to rule. The case remains ongoing with the remaining claims.
