Video Of Former WNBA Star Liz Cambage’s Fight With A Nigerian Player Surface

Video of former WNBA Star Liz Cambage’s fight with a Nigerian team has leaked after she denied calling Nigerian players “monkeys” and telling them to “go back to your own third world country” in a recent interview.

The altercation took place in 2021 during the pre-Tokyo Olympics scrimmage. Liz was playing for the Australian Opals and was up against the Nigeria national team.

The game got pretty physical and Liz could be seen committing what officials would call a “Flagrant Foul Penalty.” That’s when unnecessary and excessive contact is committed by a player against an opponent.

Things went all the way left when Liz swung her arm and hit Nigerian star Victoria Macaulay in the face. Shortly after, Macaulay ran over to swing on Liz, knocking her to the flo!

After gathering herself, Liz could be heard asking spectators if they “got that on camera.” Liz walked away from the Opals a week before their first game at the Tokyo Olympics, and hasn’t played with the team since.

Fast forward, during an appearance this month on “Taylor Rooks X” Bleacher Report podcast, Liz denied the allegations concerning the scuffle and says she’s had conversations with the Nigerian Basketball Federation about joining the team.

It’s important to note that NBF vice president, Babs Ogunade, denied ever speaking with Liz.
