81-Year-Old Senator Mitch McConnell Cleared To Work Despite Second Freeze

Senator Mitch McConnell has been medically cleared to work again despite his second freeze up on camera. This time, doctors think they know what is causing it to happen.

The 81-year-old senator met with Capitol Physician Dr. Brian Monahan following the incident, according to a press release Thursday where the doctor said the senator is ‘medically cleared’ to continue his work duties.

He said it’s rather normal to experience lightheadedness in concussion recovery.

“Occasional lightheadedness is not uncommon in concussion recovery and can also be expected as a result of dehydration.” the letter read.

The senator was to treated for a concussion back in March after taking a fall at a hotel in Washington, D.C.

If you remember, we previously reported on another incident where McConnell was is in the middle of answering a question and suddenly stopped. He ultimately had to be escorted out of the room at that time.

“This is outright elderly abuse. Get this man out of office and let him enjoy his Alzheimer’s in whatever peace he can have with the time he has left. This is ridiculous how these Republicans are doing this man,” someone commented.
