Erica Mena Fired From Love & Hip Hop Over Racial Slur
Erica Mena Has Been Fired From Love & Hip Hop For Racist Remark
Erica Mena has officially been fired from Love & Hip Hop. Erica was on the hot seat after she was caught hearing a racial slur at her fellow cast member spice.
In last weeks episode of Love & Hip Hop, Erica and Spice got into an argument. During the argument, Spice told Erica that her son doesn’t love her. That’s a pretty out of bounds comment.
But Erica’s reaction got her fired. First, the Puerto Rican firebrand turned over a table and threw bottles at Spice. Then Erica Mena called Spice a “blue monkey.”

Erica’s comments caused outrage across social media, and eventually the producers of the show had to take action.
Yesterday, the production team made it official, and fired Erica. They told the media that Erica will no longer be with the show, and will not be appearing on the reunion show either.
Erica is an actress, model, television personality, and video vixen. She is best known for her appearances in the Love & Hip Hop franchise from 2011 to 2023, particularly in the New York and Atlanta installments.
Erica Mena was previously engaged to Bow Wow. In December 2018, Mena became engaged to rapper and television personality Safaree Samuels. On October 7, 2019, she and Samuels married, and eventually had two children.
