Michigan Teacher Knocked Out By Student That Flung Metal Chair At Her During Dispute

A Michigan teacher was knocked down by one of her own students who flung a chair at her head during a dispute.

According to the NY Post, classmates of Flint Southwestern Academy High School were feuding intensely during class, prompting their teacher to diffuse the situation.

The teenagers yelled obscenities and threats back and forth; one student could be heard calling the other “big as f-k.” As the instructor attempted to quell the chaos, one student unsuspectingly hurled a metal chair directly at her head, rendering her immobile for several seconds.

Students didn’t show much concern, as two teenagers could be seen coming to blows instantly after her fall.

According to the Flint Community Schools Superintendent Kevelin Jones, the unidentified teacher was taken to the hospital and is doing well after being discharged the same day.

Jones said the students will be “held accountable according to the law”, but it is unclear what the repercussions may be.

Former Detroit Police Chief James Craig said “this video perfectly captures the sad state of Education in Michigan; No sense of order or direction, no respect for teachers, and worst of all – NO LEARNING.”
