Ohio Man Is Facing Murder Charges After Shooting & Killing His Pregnant Sister & Her Husband While Having A Picnic

An Ohio man is behind bars after fatally shooting his pregnant sister and brother-in-law at park on Monday.

According to reports, Jason Iverson, 29, shot and killed his sister, Mercedes Iverson, 30, and her husband, Trea Carter, 31. A 13-year-old boy was also reportedly injured.

Apparently, Mercedes and Trea were at a park for a picnic when Jason popped up. According to police, Jason and Mercedes had been in an ongoing dispute, and when he arrived at the park and saw her, he allegedly tried to put the paws on them.

Mercedes, Trea and the 13-year-old boy reportedly broke away from the fight and went to their vehicle. During that time, Jason allegedly pulled out a handgun and began shooting at them.

Some of the shots fired off ended up hitting the vehicle, and grazed the arm of the boy. Trea ended up getting out of the car and attempted to hide, but Jason allegedly chased him and shot him in the bathroom.

Trea, Mercedes and her unborn baby were killed. The 13-year-old was taken to the hospital and was later released.

Jason was arrested and hit with several charges from murder & attempted murder.
