Cassie’s Friend Tiffany Red Writes Letter To Diddy Describing All Of The Abuse She Witnessed

Although Cassie and Diddy have settled their lawsuit, Cassie’s friend Tiffany Red is speaking out about the disturbing things she witnessed during her friendship with Cassie. In an open letter penned to Diddy and published by Rolling Stone, Tiffany describes how scary and intimidating Diddy was and how she saw the negative effects it had on her friend.

Tiffany says she met Cassie in 2015 when she was a songwriter helping Cassie with her never-released 2nd album. The two grew close during that time and Cassie would often confide in her about her relationship with Diddy.

Tiffany says she first met Diddy on the day of Cassie’s 29th surprise party. He knew who she was because Tiffany was helping Cassie with her music, but it was obvious he wasn’t a fan of her being Cassie’s confidant. As the night ended, Cassie and her friends decided to go to a karaoke bar. Shortly after they arrived, Diddy popped up and pulled Cassie outside to talk.

Tiffany says she could sense something was wrong, so she went out into the hallway and saw Diddy verbally obliterating Cassie in the corner. Tiffany says Cassie looked completely helpless. Shortly after, they all had to leave and went back to Cassie’s apartment.

Cassie was preparing to leave with Diddy, even though she said multiple times she didn’t want to go. Tiffany later learned they were going to a “freak off”, a sex party Cassie described in her lawsuit.

Tiffany says later that night, they both come back completely drunk and high, a state she had never seen Cassie in. Tiffany says Diddy began to yell at her for writing songs for Cassie, causing Tiffany to be fearful of her life. Before things escalated, the couple left, but Tiffany has the horrific night forever in mind.

“I am traumatized by you,” she said in the letter. “Your abuse of power has inflicted ongoing harm on countless individuals, including myself, my friends, and my peers. It pains me to write this letter to you as a Black woman, but when will this cycle of abuse stop? It has to stop. “
