Charlotte High School Teacher Arrested For Allegedly Having S*x With An 18-Year-Old Student At A Park

A Biology teacher down in Charlotte, North Carolina was arrested this week for what she allegedly did when she met up with an 18-year-old student at a local park.

Gabriela Neufeld, 26, faces charges that include five counts of felony sexual activity with a student by a teacher, court documents showed.

Police said that Gabriela engaged in sexual activity with an 18-year-old male student.

CMPD said the sexual activity occurred near 5300 Closeburn Road, which is not near the location of the school, and is closer towards Park Road Park.

CMS officials said Gabriella started her school system employment in 2021. She had just entered a four-year contract that will run through 2026.

Gabriela was booked Wednesday at the Mecklenburg County Detention Center and was released Thursday on a $75,000 secured bond, court records showed.

Her next hearing is set for Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2023. She has been court-ordered to wear electronic monitoring at this time.
