Diddy No Longer Associated With DeLeón Or Ciroc After He Dropped Discrimination Lawsuit Against The Liquor Maker Diage And Agreed To Cut Ties With The Brand Completely

Looks like Diddy has yet another business venture that he is no longer apart of after he decided to drop a lawsuit against liquor maker Diageo and cut ties with the company.

For years, Diddy has been advertising his alcohol brand Ciroc Vodka and DeLeón Tequila. He had a distribution partnership with Diageo that eventually fell through after Diddy accused them of discrimination.

Last year, he filed a lawsuit against the company claiming that they allegedly blackballed his brand, which he believed was racially motivated. Diageo actively denied those claims and were fully prepared to battle it out in court.

Diddy probably was ready to fight it out in court also, but in light of his other, more pressing, lawsuits, he has decided to drop the lawsuit and take back all claims. According to the WSJ, the two have agreed that Diddy will no longer own DeLeón or Ciroc, and both brands will continue to be sold under Diageo without any ties to Diddy.

“Sean Comba and Diageo have now agreed to resolve all disputes between them. Mr. Combs has withdrawn all of his allegations about Diageo and will voluntarily dismiss his lawsuits against Diageo with prejudice,” the statement, attributed to both parties, reads.

“Diageo and Mr. Combs have no ongoing business relationship, either with respect to Cîroc vodka or DeLeón tequila, which Diageo now solely owns.”

Well damn! Another one bites the dust.
