Atlanta Police Arrest Rapper Anti Da Menace For Armed Robbery & Participating In Criminal Street Gang Activity

Rapper Anti Da Menace has been arrested on multiple gang charges. According to reports reaching us at Dreddsworld, the Atlanta rapper made his first court appearance in Fulton County on Thursday.

Channel 2’s Michael Seiden confirmed that
Atlanta police arrested Linderius Cortez Johnson, better known as Anti Da Menace, on multiple charges, including armed robbery and participating in criminal street gang activity He is still behind bars as of Friday afternoon, a jail spokesperson confirmed.

Cortez Johnson, who grew up on the city’s Westside, has made a name for himself in Atlanta’s underground rap scene through social media. It’s unfortunate his career is turning this way at an early stage.

Menace rose to prominence when singles from his Legend album went viral in 2022. The rapper has since become recognized as one of the fastest-growing rappers in the country, with hits like Big Eyez and Steppin In.

His studio album, Legend, catapulted him to stardom. Menace dropped the album in 2022 in conjunction with 952DaLabel. The album has ten songs, including hit singles like Life Been Lit and Drill On Feet which became the most popular song on the album. It went viral across social media and streaming platforms, amassing over 4 million views on YouTube.

The Atlanta breed rapper has since released three more albums: Legendary (2022), BLOCK BABYz (2023), and No Sympathy (2023). Menace signed with Artist Partner Group (APG) record label in 2023. An interesting fact about him is that he doesn’t write his music beforehand. All his songs are freestyle and according to him, he walks into the studio and raps whatever is on his mind.

He however expressed his disappointment after he didn’t make the XXL Freshman list of 2023. The list, recognising newcomers, featured talents like GloRilla and Lola Brooke. Despite being snubbed, Anti is considered one of the most notable fast rising rappers from Atlanta, Georgia.
