Country-Rock Singer Hardy, Shades Beyonce For Not Performing At Houston Rodeo: “Didn’t See Beyonce”
There has been mixed reactions since Beyoncé announced she’s going country, and the latest to share their take is country-rocker Hardy, who recently took a swipe at Bey.
On the 2nd of March, Hardy performed for the first time at the Houston Rodeo, Four days later, the 33-year-old Mississippi native posted a video showing clips of his performance to Instagram.
“Didn’t see Beyoncé at the rodeo,” the “One Beer” singer wrote in the caption, shading Beyonce.

His post has since gone viral, garnering reactions from his fans and likewise the beyhives who pointed out that the song Hardy used for the video was also decidedly not country.
“When the receipts be receipting,” someone commented. “Every time she’s about to drop, here comes her funky ass haters, just seeking clout & sir we don’t know you,” another person wrote.
“Don’t people know if they don’t like Beyonce they can just shut tf up about it lol,” someone else penned. “She performed at the Houston rodeo in the early stages of her career, next…” a fourth person noted. “You don’t dictate her album rollout or tour. Mind yours,” a fifth person added.
It’s noteworthy that Beyoncé grew up in Texas — Houston, and she’s been at the rodeo before. The Lemonade’ singer performed at the venue four times between 2001 and 2007, both solo and with her former group Destiny’s Child.
