Dan Schneider Says He’s Sorry For The Pain He Caused His TV Staff, Apologizes For Forcing Them To Massage Him After ‘Quiet On Set’ Docuseries
As we previously reported, Dan Schneider denied that he sexualized children after videos from Discovery’s docuseries “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,” exposed some controversial scenes filmed during his time with Nickelodeon.
In a statement released to Variety Magazine, Dan Schneider said “not only did the standards and practices group review each script and programming executives look at each episode, but also “every day on every set, were the parents and caregivers and their friends watching every single frame of footage and listening to every joke.”
However, during a video conversation with actor Bobbie K. Bowman, popularly known as BooG!e, Schneider admitted that viewing the docuseries was “difficult” and “embarrassing.”

“Facing my past behaviors, some of which are embarrassing and that I regret and I definitely owe some people a pretty strong apology,” Schneider who produced some of Nickelodeon’s most successful shows like “All That,” “The Amanda Show,” “Drake and Josh” and “iCarly,” said.
When asked about massages that happened at work, Schneider told BooG!e, who played T-Bo on “iCarly,” in a video uploaded to Schneider’s YouTube channel on Tuesday that it was wrong that he ever put anybody in that position. “I apologize to anybody that I ever put in that situation,” he said.
He also says he’s sorry for the pain he caused his TV staff. “There were lots of people there who witnessed it who also may have felt uncomfortable. So I owe them an apology, as well,” Schneider added.
Quiet on Set” docuseries featured many actors and former child stars including Drake Bell, who alleged abuse, inappropriate behavior and a toxic work environment during their time on shows produced by Schneider.
