Donald Trump Threatens It’s Going To Be ‘A Bloodbath For The Country’ If He Doesn’t Get Elected At A Campaign Rally In Ohio
Donald Trump is under fire after he stated that there would be a “bloodbath” for the country if he doesn’t get elected. The statement was made during a campaign rally in Ohio on Saturday for Senate candidate Bernie Moreno.
While discussing the impact of offshoring on the country’s auto industry, the former president revealed his plan to increase tariffs on foreign-made cars.
“We’re gonna put a 100% tariff on every single car that comes across the line, and you’re not gonna be able to sell those guys if I get elected,” he announced. “Now, if I don’t get elected, it’s gonna be a bloodbath for the whole … that’s gonna be the least of it, it’s gonna be a bloodbath for the country, that’ll be the least of it.”

James Singer, spokesperson for the Biden campaign, accused Trump of doubling “down on his threats of political violence.”
However, according to ABCNews, “Trump’s campaign has pushed back on claims that Trump was talking about violence throughout the country should he lose reelection in 2024, arguing he was talking about the destruction of the auto industry.”
“Indicted for inciting violence and still inciting violence. Insane,” someone commented. Another person simply quoted Maya Angelou, “WHEN SOMEONE SHOWS YOU WHO THEY ARE, BELIEVE THEM!”
“Is this not a terrorist threat?! Like..” someone else queried in disbelief. “The fact that he is legally able to run for president is the nastiest work of this whole damn country!!” a fourth person added.
