Kate Middleton Spotted Out With Prince William For The First Time Since Photoshop Gate

There’s been a lot of rumors and speculation regarding Princess Kate’s whereabouts after she underwent abdominal surgery back in January, because she has not been seen by the public.

Then she popped up on Mother’s Day to post a family photo which obviously didn’t go well as the photo was proven to be heavily photoshopped.

The Princess of Wales shared the photo on Mother’s Day in the U.K., adding a message thanking people for their “kind wishes and continued support” as she recovers from abdominal surgery. Prince William was credited for the photo, showing a smiling Kate surrounded by her three children.

However, few hours after the image being released on social media, the Associated Press (AP) Reuters, Agence France-Presse (AFP) and Getty Images deleted the photo from their websites and released a statement about it amid claims it had been digitally manipulated.

After being busted, Kate apologized and admitted that she “occasionally experiments with editing.” Taking to Twitter, she admitted that she digitally edited the photograph taken by Prince William and was sorry for any confusion the image had caused.

“Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused. I hope everyone celebrating had a very happy Mother’s Day. C,” the message posted Monday read.

Following the controversy, Kate was spotted out in good spirits with Prince William on Saturday. This is the first time she’ll be seen since the photoshop gate.
