Grace Jabbari Files New Lawsuit Against Jonathan Majors Months After He Was Convicted Of Assaulting Her

Jonathan Majors can’t seem to catch a break. Some months ago, he was convicted of assault on his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, which resulted in him losing the majority of his acting gigs including his role as Kang in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe.

But Grace isn’t satisfied, according to the Hollywood Reporter, Jabbari has filed a new lawsuit against Jonathan, accusing him of assault, battery, and defamation.

Grace claims Jonathan of subjected her to a “pattern of pervasive domestic abuse that began in 2021 and extended through 2023,” detailing several instances of alleged abuse.

One of the alleged incidents happened in September 2022. Per the suit, after a verbal fight, Jonathan “pushed Grace so hard that it bruised her backside,” “picked Grace up in the air and threw her against the hood of her car” and “brought Grace back into their house and held his hands around her neck, stating that he wanted to kill her, and that he was going to kill her. The actor then started hitting Grace’s head against the marble floor while strangling her until she felt she could no longer breathe.”

When Grace told the actor she wanted to go to the police, he told her not to go because they would ask questions. These text messages were originally presented during his trial, but were not used as evidence to determine his verdict.

Grace also has issues with Jonathan maintaining his “innocence” throughout the trial. In his GMA interview, the actor made it seem as though she was a woman scorned, not an abuse victim.

“Now that Majors can no longer physically abuse Grace, he has resorted to very publicly abusing her reputation. Following his arrest, Majors immediately implemented an extensive media campaign smearing Grace, claiming that he was “completely innocent,” “is provably the victim,” that he “did not assault her whatsoever,” and that “this woman was having an emotional crisis, for which she was taken to a hospital,” the suit reads.

We can’t really tell what resolution Grace is aiming for with the lawsuit.
