Houston Family Jump Uber Driver After Killing A Toddler He Mistakenly Ran Over
Houston Toddler Killed By An Uber Driver After He Mistakenly Ran Her Over While Dropping Of Her And Her Family, Family Then Jumped Driver After Witnessing The Tragedy

A toddler tragically died after she was run over by an Uber driver moments after he dropped her and her family off at their home in Houston. The Houston family had just made it to their apartment with the Uber when the incident happened, per ABC5.

In surveillance video that has since gone viral, the family can be seen exiting the Uber as a group while the toddler was still on the other side of the car.

The driver then pulled forward to leave the complex when he mistakenly ran over the toddler who had made her way to the front of the truck. The family acted quickly as they attempted to get the little girl, who was almost 2-years-old, from under the car, but while they tended to the girl, other family members began to beat up the driver.

The car was eventually moved, and the child was taken to a nearby gas station in another vehicle driven by a neighbor. First responders arrived at the scene and took the girl to a hospital where she was pronounced dead.

On the other hand, the Uber driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No charges have been filed against anyone for now. The investigation is ongoing.

“That’s the family’s fault though why is a kid in the street without an adult holding its hand?” someone commented. “The family is at fault because the should have grab the baby had to make sure she passed the vehicle. He couldn’t see a child that small,” another person wrote.

“Justice for the toddler and the driver cos that family was wrong on both counts,” someone else penned. “No one picked up the baby to tend to him, they immediately started fighting the driver. Thats sad,” a fourth person added.
