DJ Akademiks Accuses Lil Baby Of Painting His Nails In New Song Snippet, Baby Responds
Lil Baby Responds To DJ Akademiks, Denies He Painted His Nails In New Music Video Preview
Amid Diddy’s ongoing lawsuit which sheds light on some of the hideous things going down in the rap game, it’s easy to point fingers at others to be involved in the acts. And that’s what has reignited Lil Baby and DJ Akademiks‘ beef.
It all started when Akademiks called the Atlanta rapper out for appearing to wear nail polish in a new music video. Ak reposted a clip of a new Lil Baby music video preview on Twitter.
In the clip, which has since gone viral, Baby appears to have on nail polish in some scenes where he is flipping the bird to the camera. “Dis n***a ain’t been the same since then Michael Rubin parties… I kno his nails not painted .. man wats going on in rap,” the controversial blogger captioned the clip.

In a follow-up post, Akademiks shared a photo of the Quality Control rapper at billionaire entrepreneur Michael Rubin’s 2023 July 4th party along with the caption, “The day we lost Lil Baby.”
Lil Baby caught wind of the claims and he responded a few hours later. “Y’all blogs gotta stop just posting anything,” the 4PF spitter wrote on his Instagram Story, along with a selfie showing himself from the waist down, with his unpainted nails fully on display.
“I ain’t painting my MF nails. At this point y’all gotta see n***as like Akademiks got an agenda. Miss me with that weird s**t (No lol).”
Back in 2022, Lil Baby dissed Akademiks and in response, AK said he’s willing to go to court to testify against Baby if 4PF is hit with a RICO charge.
