Taylor Swift’s Boyfriend Travis Kelce Faces Backlash Over Deleted Tweet About Jesus ‘Takin One For The Team’

Taylor Swift’s boyfriend Travis Kelce, is currently facing heavy criticism over his Easter celebration post from 14 years ago that’s now being deleted. The Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end wrote about Jesus taking one for the team in a post dated back to 2010.

“Happy easter to all!!! #shoutout to Jesus for takin one for the team…. haha,” the NFL star wrote in the now deleted tweet.

The post has now been deleted and as you’d expect, a lot of people have since been dragging him over it. While some are angry he wasn’t bold enough for Jesus, others are furious at the mannerism of the tweet. “It’s clear they are satanic and are just mocking Christianity now It’s all one big club,” someone commented.

“I don’t like the guy, i don’t like football, I don’t like swift or any of it but this was 14 years ago. Surely there’s something else to be upset about,” another person wrote. “Why should Travis Kelce be ashamed of Jesus? We need to bold about Christianity,” someone else added.

Pictures recently surfaced from Travis vacation to the Bahamas with Taylor Swift and they showed that the legendary football star has added the pounds.

This is quite understandable considering that the next season doesn’t actually start until September, meaning that he has plenty of time in hand to get back into shape and that’s what he reminded people of.

“It’s March!” Kelce joked on the New Heights podcast with his brother, Jason. “We’re in the same weight class right now!”
