Lately, Playboi Carti has been making more headlines for his controversial antics than for his music. The rapper’s fashion choices have left fans and many others worried as they try to make sense of why he dresses the way he does.

Amid the controversy surrounding his dress sense, the Atlanta rapper popped out again, sharing a selfie of himself wearing a lace front ponytail.

The selfie was reposted by The Neighborhood Talk and the comments section has a lot of people sharing mixed reactions on his sexuality and fashion choices. “I know his baby mama is so embarrassed,” someone commented. “It’s 2024. You’re rich at least get a better lace front bro,” another person wrote.

“It’s only a matter of time before he comes out,” someone else penned in regards the rapper’s sexuality. “Is that a lace front 6 all these rappers really turning sassy that’s so strange,” fourth person added.

Last month, Carti was spotted at a gas station in Los Angeles, California in Los Angeles. He was hitting the studio with Kanye West, wearing a one piece mesh top that becomes a thong when buttoned at the bottom.

Carti was seen sporting an outfit made up of items from multiple brands including a mesh Rick Owens bodysuit, Balenciaga deconstructed jacket, camo shorts, logo handle boots from Telfar, and Nike compression shorts along with Tom Ford boxers.

The rapper’s face was painted black, probably for the shoot though, but it could also be one of his weird fashion statement. “Yyyyyyyyyy,” Popcaan commented, and others rushed in with comments, “Bro fighting his demons and they winning” and “Bro Think He In Tropic Thunder,” someone commented.
