Tiffany Haddish Says She’s Quit Smoking And Drinking Following Her DUI Arrest

It’s good to see that Tiffany Haddish is now taking the right steps towards a lifestyle change. The actress was recently on British journalist Amanda de Cadnet’s The Conversation podcast, where she explained how she had to quit smoking and drinking completely due to her recent DUIs.

“I haven’t drank any alcohol, smoked any weed or anything in, like, 72 days,” the actress said. “It’s not hard. It’s not that hard for me, ‘cause it wasn’t really, like, my main thing anyways.”

If y’all recall, Tiffany racked up 2 DUIs over the past two years, with the most recent one coming in November 2023. Tiffany says due to her legal situation, she had to give up her vices.

“It’s court-mandated,” Tiffany continued, referencing her two DUI arrests. She then added that she only smoked weed to manage the pain associated with her endometriosis.

Back in 2023, Tiffany revealed that her breakup with rapper and actor Common wasn’t mutual and was done over the phone. She made the revelation during an interview with The Washington Post.

“It wasn’t mutual,” Tiffany said. “It was more him saying, ‘I think this relationship has run its course.’ And I was like, ‘OK. Like you gonna be a 50-year-old single man. OK?’”

She told the outlet that before Common started to withdraw it was one of her most “healthiest [and] the funnest relationship” that she’s ever had. Tiffany said she noticed a change in their relationship when he didn’t even invite her to his own birthday party.
