Tiffany Haddish Says Common Dumped Her Over The Phone
Tiffany Haddish Says Her Breakup With Common Wasn’t Mutual
It’s no secret Common loves to dip and dapple and then keep it moving. Well, Tiffany Haddish sat down for an exclusive interview The Washington Post and revealed that her breakup with Common wasn’t mutual and was done over the phone.
“It wasn’t mutual,” Tiffany said. “It was more him saying, ‘I think this relationship has run its course.’ And I was like, ‘OK. Like you gonna be a 50-year-old single man. OK?’”
She told the outlet that before Common started to withdraw it was one of her most “healthiest [and] the funnest relationship” that she’s ever had. Tiffany said she noticed a change in their relationship when he didn’t even invite her to his own birthday party.

After their breakup, Tiffany revealed that she’s back on dating apps. “I’m getting back into the dating scene, which means I’m on the apps: Raya, Tinder, Postmates, Candy Crush, and that therapy app BetterHelp, okay,” the Girls Trip star shared.
“Hey you never know where you gonna meet a man, and if he’s a therapist it might be helpful.”
The California native, who split from Common in November after 16 months together, was firm with her words, expressing that she knew exactly what she was looking for in the next person she dates, quipping, “A man with a perfect credit score.”
“Now I don’t care how tall they are; how old they are; how much they weigh; the only number that matters to me that I care about comes from FICA (Federal Insurance Contributions Act), because credit scores show how responsible they are.”
