Man Miraculously Survived Unscathed After A Massive Crane Fell On His Tesla In Fort Lauderdale

A video is currently circulating online, showing the aftermath of a tragic accident that happened on Thursday in Florida, when a section of a construction crane came crashing down on a downtown Fort Lauderdale bridge.

Unfortunately, a construction worker was killed in the accident, while two people on the ground were treated and released from a local hospital.

However, the reaction of a Tesla owner is taking off online after the man detailed his experience when the crane struck his car and he miraculously was unharmed. In fact, he left his car unscathed.

“It sheared off the front of my car… and I just walked away,” the Tesla owner identified as Mark Cerezin, can be heard saying. “I was driving over the 3rd Avenue Bridge and I felt some type of compression, and I looked up and I saw this big, huge piece of blue metal coming down and I slammed on the brakes and then it hit the front of my car,” Mark told the CBS affiliate.

He continued, “It was like slow motion, then that piece of metal bounced in the air and then went to the right and landed on another car. I couldn’t believe that I was still alive. My heart goes out, I mean, to this person who lost their life and to their loved ones, I mean, that could have been me.”

In a statement to NBC6, Cerezin said, “I felt a compression, and I looked up and I saw the blue structure coming down, and I slammed on my brakes. It sheared off the front of my Tesla and all the airbags went off — and I’m very lucky to be alive.” He continued, “I saw the structure bounce off my car and land on the car next to me.”

The video of the incident has since gone viral on social media, garnering mixed reactions from netizens, some think the Tesla owner is very lucky to have survived while others believe he could make a lot money off the incident. “Brother completely just wiffed on a huge bag by admitting he’s completely fine on recording,” someone commented.
