A Mississippi Gay Man Gunned Down By A Former Lover After The Ex Continuously Stalked Him Despite Having Multiple Restraining Orders

A Mississippi man was killed early Tuesday morning after a former lover allegedly stalked him and gunned him down inside his own apartment.

According to WJTV, Carlos Collins, 25, had multiple restraining orders against his ex, Marcus Johnson, 33, before the tragic event occurred.

Carlos’ mother claims her son was at M-Bar in Jackson, Mississippi when Marcus popped up at the club to reportedly stalk Carlos. Although he had a restraining order, officers at the club claim they could not do anything about it because they didn’t have the restraining order physically with them. So, when Carlos left the club, Marcus reportedly followed him back to his apartment and killed him.

According to news reports, Marcus, who is a former Jackson Police Officer, reportedly shot Carlos multiple times inside his apartment. Family members even claim an ax was used in the murder, but no official reports have confirmed that detail.

As of right now, Marcus is a wanted man and authorities have issued an arrest warrant for his arrest.

“I don’t want nobody to ever be this in love with me,” someone commented. “And the amount of times it was said he was stabbed is horrific. Air tags were put on the victims car as well. The police failed him,” another person wrote.

“Restraining orders are honestly a joke. Even the judge will tell you “this is just a piece of paper”. It’s sad. Hope justice is served for him smh,” someone else wrote. “Stalkers, S* offenders and DV accusers need to where ankle bracelets that tracks them..” another user added.
