Cardi B Says Fast Food In America Keeps You Sick On Purpose
Cardi B Faces Backlash for Saying Fast Food Is Keeping Us Sick
Cardi B is currently facing backlash after she said fast food is keeping us sick in the country. The Bronx rapper made the statement during a recent interview on Big Boy Neighborhood podcast.
“I really feel like this country keeps you sick on purpose.. I just went to Columbia and I ate KFC and McDonald’s and everything.. and it was so fresh, it felt like they just cut the chicken in the back,” Cardi said.
“It was so good that when I when I came back to America, like I craved it, it was terrible, it tastes like plastic.” She continued, “I forgot why I haven’t eaten KFC in a long time. Like, it makes me sh*t. But it didn’t make me sh*t in Colombia.”

She added, “It got me sick and it’s just like yeah, this country is keeping us sick.”
However, there have been mixed reactions to her statement. Some fans have been calling her out for the hypocrisy since she and Offset have a deal with McDonald’s, while others think it’s true. “Didn’t she have a deal with and promote McDonald’s??? Just fake and performative,” someone commented.
“She ain’t lying . My body feels completely better after I cut a lot of junk out my life,” another person wrote. “Straight up she ain’t lying tho the quality of fast food here un America is terrible, it’s not like it was in the 90s or 2000s,” someone else added.
In the same interview on Big Boy Neighborhood, Cardi revealed that GloRilla is her biological cousin. According to Cardi, her grandfather had a son with a side piece, and that son is Glo’s dad. So apparently, Cardi B’s uncle is Glo’s dad, meaning they are first cousins.
