Doja Cat Names Drop Cardi B On New Track ‘Acknowledge Me’ From Deluxe Album: ‘Cartier On You But You Barking Like You Cardi B’

Doja Cat is fresh off releasing her deluxe album for ‘Scarlet’ and she appears to have taken shots at Cardi B on “Acknowledge Me” off the new project.

“You out here actin’ like you sniffin’ on some Carly Rae/ Cartier on you, but you barkin’ like you Cardi B (Yeah-yeah)/ You ain’t stupid, but you probably ain’t as smart as me/ I told the concierge to change the lock for the apartment key,” she raps on the song.

Although she claims it is not a diss.. I don’t know what comparing someone to barking is. That’s a clear diss to be honest and Cardi fans aren’t taking it lightly.

“Barking like u cardi bae” (offset) offset has a barking like adlib,” a fan tried to clarify. “Cardi been catchin strays all week,” another person wrote. “Omg we not gon hear the end of it when she wake up,” someone else wrote. “This giving a diss cause “barking” it’s giving a dog. It’s giving chihuahua,” another user added.

Previously, after the leak of several tracks from the project, Doja took to social media to address speculation about her dissing Cardi B.

Yesterday, Doja tweeted, “‘DISRESPECTFUL’ is one of my Top 3 [favorites],” to which a fan replied, “OK, but which one did you whack Cardi B on?” Within minutes, the “Say So” rapper replied, “None of them. Get a f**kin’ life.”

In another news, Doja will be headlining Coachella 2024 later this month and will also embark on the European leg of her “Scarlet Tour” in Glasgow on June 11, followed by stops in Birmingham, London, Amsterdam, Milan, and Paris.
