J. Cole Responds To Kendrick Lamar’s Diss On ‘Might Delete Later’
J. Cole Responds To Kendrick Lamar’s Diss On ‘7 Minute Drill’ Off ‘Might Delete Later’

Let the battle begin! Couple weeks back, Kendrick Lamar dissed J. Cole and Drake on “Like That” off Future and Metro Boomin’s album “We Don’t Trust You”. While Drake is yet to respond, Cole has entered the booth to fire back.

On a new song “7 Minute Drill’ off a surprise project titled “Might Delete Later,” J. Cole responds to Kendrick Lamar’s diss, rapping: “I got a phone call that said somebody was dissing. He fell off like The Simpsons.”

First reactions from fans show they’re not so impressed with Cole’s response. The track was reposted on TNT and has since been garnering loads of reactions. “This is INSUFFICIENT Jermaine! Go back in the booth and try again!” someone commented. “Simpsons never fell off.. cap,” another person wrote. “When did they have beef? j.cole is one of the most laid back people ever,” someone else added.

“I got a phone call, they say that somebody dissing / You want some attention, it come with extensions / He still doing shows but fell off like ‘The Simpsons’ / Your first shit was classic, your last shit was tragic / Your second shit put n—s to sleep but they gassed it / Your third shit was massive and that was your prime / I was trailing right behind and I just now hit mine,” Cole raps.

On “Like That” K. Dot raps: “Sneak dissin’, first person shooter, I hope they came with three switches. I crash out, like, ‘F**k rap,’ this Melly Mell if I had to/Got two Ts with me, I’m snatchin’ chains and burnin’ tattoos, it’s up/Lost too many soldiers not to play it safe/If he walk around with that stick, it ain’t Andre 3K,” Kendrick raps on “Like That.”

“Think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD/Muthaf**k the big three, n***a, it’s just big me/N***a, bum, what? I’m really like that,” the Compton native added.

J. Cole name dropped Kendrick Lamar on “First Person Shooter” with Drake, but it was on a good note… putting himself, Drake and K. Dot on the same level as the big 3. Apparently, Kendrick isn’t having any of that, he’s not down to sharing his throne.

“Love when they argue the hardest MC/ Is it K-Dot? Is it Aubrey? Or me?/ We the big three like we started a league, but right now, I feel like Muhammad Ali/ Huh, yeah, yeah, huh-huh, yeah, Muhammad Ali,” Cole raps on “First Person Shooter.”
