GloRilla Speaks On Her Online Exchange With JT And Working With Megan Thee Stallion

Billboard caught up with GloRilla on the red carpet at the CMT Awards where she was asked about her recent online exchange with JT and working with Megan Thee Stallion on her new project.

“So listen, this is funny, I gotta say I wasn’t prepared to see you at the CMT Awards. And I was prepping the other day and I can’t even prep for the show because I was reading about you on Twitter,” the interviewer, Tetris Kelly, said.

“And everybody was blowing up my phone.. ‘did you see what’s going on Twitter?’ So tell me why did you feel the need to pop up on JT so hard,” Tetris asked. “Ehhthang is always Ehhthang, at the end of the day, the day’s gonna motherf*cking end,” she replied, referencing her newly released mixtape’s title.

When asked about working with Megan Thee Stallion, Glo said, “I love Megan, she’s a wonderful person, she’s so fun. This is my girl.. you know what I’m saying.. I thought her how to twerk… It seems crazy but it’s true.”

The ‘FnF’ rapper was then asked about her experience meeting with the President, Joe Biden. “I’m super blessed. I had so much fun that day like I was just on cloud 9 that day. It was everything,” she responded.

Glo also spoke on her viral catchphrase “at the end of the day, the gotta end” which she said during her interview on CNN. “I mean, I just spoke my truth..” she said. “And what’s the truth.. that at the end of the day,” Kelly asked. “The day gotta end,” Glo interjected.. “Did I lie?” she queried. “No, you did not lie,” Tetris answered.

The rapper was then asked what she has in store for the future. “My album coming real soon, right after my mixtape, make sure y’all go run the mixtape up first,” she revealed.
